Application

Installation to tiles is with reference to BS 5385: Code of practice for installation of internal and external, wall and floor ceramic tiles. All expansion joints and movement joints must extend through adhesive bed and tiles.

For wall tilling, the maximum final adhesive bed thickness should be less than 3mm. For floor tilling, the maximum final adhesive bed thickness should be 3-6mm. Usually, notched trowweling and buttering method of application is used.
